Bulky Orders
Bulky orders are defined as orders containing products over 1m or they cannot be packed into a standard carton. These items are highlighted on the product pages under the add to basket button or in the product description.
Orders taking up more than 1 pallet space may be subject to additional surcharges depending on delivery location. This usually starts at £40.
Surcharges may not be able to be calculated at the checkout, so we will contact you advising of the additional charges. You can cancel the order if you do not wish to pay the surcharges.
Other delivery terms and info
We currently use DPD, DX Freight, The Pallet Network and Pall-ex network for deliveries.
Next business day deliveries are made Monday - Friday. We are closed on bank holidays in England and no orders will be dispatched or delivered on this day.
Delivery charges are based on product list prices and we may charge additional rates for orders containing clearance products, customer contract pricing, custom made orders and bespoke discounting.
All delivery services are non guaranteed and are described as an expected delivery date, but average around a 97% successful delivery rate. Due to reasons beyond our control such as weather, road closures or other operational delays, we cannot offer compensation for deliveries to customers that do not arrive as per the described service. In the event that goods will arrive later than required, you can reject the delivery and the goods will be returned to us for a full refund.
Pallet deliveries where the customer is not available to receive delivery or an address error made by the customer may be subject to a redelivery charge from £50 depending on location. Couriers will not read opening times e.g. closed after 1pm so the customer is required to pay extra for a timed delivery.
We highly recommended not booking any trades until the goods are in your possession and have been checked. We cannot offer any compensation against lost labour or other charges for delayed deliveries.
Premium Service Terms
Premium services offered as before 12pm or 10.30am are not guaranteed but achieve a high successful delivery rate. For deliveries that do not achieve the premium delivery time, we can only offer refunds of the difference between the premium service and the standard next day delivery charge. Excludes attempted deliveries at the correct address.
The following postcodes are not eligible for premium services but can still be delivered next day: AB10-AB30, DD1-11, G63, G83-G90, KY8-10, KY14-16, KW15-17, FK16, PH1-14. Other Scottish post codes and Cornwall/Devon are an extra hour to the advertised service.
International
We are able to deliver internationally, just contact us with what you require and we will send a price back at cost. You are also welcome to arrange your own collection from us.
