Well made, but had to add a threaded bolt and retaining nuts just as David Schofield had to do to stop the assembly bending under weight and the rod constantly popping out of the top of the frame. Anyone who hasn't done this is either a) not putting the assembly under much strain or b) is running it on a very, very smooth surface.
Good strong wheel and reasonably priced
I purchased a gate castor that was rated 200kg, as I wanted to be on the safe side for the weight of my gate. As soon as any reasonable weight was placed on it the bracket started to bend. I had to overcome this by adding additional strengthening and supports myself.
But if they did, they still wouldn’t be as good as the ones from DC Iron ..
